As part of the Inkscape project we had a simple but useful bridge which relays our discussion between the jabber server and our channel on Freenode. It also makes newcomers very puzzled, seeing a bot apparently talking, and with so many diffrent personality
Finally I have to thanks Kees Cook because yesterday he made the source code of the bridge pubblicily available, and under GPL.
The name of the bridge is jirc, and its first pubblic release is version 0.3
It’s not very mature, and it only does its basic work. Many things are still TO DO, and Kees really appreciates patch for useful features…
For a live demonstration, join #inkscape on freenode and have fun
